About the training

The training helps you turn an idea into organised work that can be followed up. You build a plan for a small project and learn to define what is required, sequence activities, assign responsibilities and handle changes.

What you will learn

After this training, you will be able to:

  1. 1

Define the project's goal, deliverables and the limits of its scope.

  2. 2

Break the work down into tasks and estimate their duration and sequence.

  3. 3

Assign responsibilities and document the main risks.

  4. 4

Design a simple progress report and assess a change request.

The programme

Five units of two hours each. Suggested pace: five meetings or learning sessions of two hours each, over one to two weeks, as the learner's schedule allows.

Who this training is for

No previous experience is needed; choosing a small project idea and using a document editor or spreadsheet is enough.

  • Students on graduation projects and leaders of clubs and initiatives.
  • Those heading into training in project and operations teams.

Who it is not for

  • Anyone looking for full preparation for a professional certification exam such as PMP.

Before you start

Is this a preparation training for the PMP certification?

No, it is a ten-hour applied introduction to managing a small project, not a preparation programme for a professional exam.

How much time do I need?

The training totals ten hours, including the lessons, the application work and the project; they can be spread over five sessions of two hours each.

Can it be offered to a university group?

A proposed offer can be prepared for the group; delivery, support and cost arrangements are agreed with ZERAX.
