About the training

The training takes you from an unorganised spreadsheet to a simple analytical report. You apply cleaning steps, functions and PivotTables, then show what the numbers mean and what cannot be concluded from them.

What you will learn

After this training, you will be able to:

  1. 1

Clean data that has duplicates, missing values and inconsistent dates.

  2. 2

Use conditional and aggregate functions to analyse specific questions.

  3. 3

Build a PivotTable and a chart suited to comparison.

  4. 4

Check the report's totals and explain three findings grounded in the data.

The programme

Five units of two hours each. Suggested pace: five meetings or learning sessions of two hours each, over one to two weeks, as the learner's schedule allows.

Before you start

Do I need to be advanced in Excel?

No, knowing how to enter data and move between cells is enough; the training starts from the analytical basics.

How much time do I need?

The training totals ten hours, including the lessons, the application work and the project; they can be spread over five sessions of two hours each.

Can it be offered to a university group?

A proposed offer can be prepared for the group; delivery, support and cost arrangements are agreed with ZERAX.
